Inspiring Confidence and Establishing Credibility

This non-profit agency approached AllOut Marketing to help them apply for a grant to become the only cross-disability center in the Bronx serving families of children with disabilities. This agency was especially unique in that a large percentage of their staff had both personal and professional experience with disabilities.

After they won the grant, we began with a brochure to inspire confidence in the center by families seeking resources for raising their child.

Colorful and Culturally Relevant

Using bright images and positive language evoking happy childhood memories, we created an informative brochure that is reassuring while also establishing the agency as truly local and culturally and linguistically accessible. The Spanish and English versions were printed and distributed simultaneously, with several more languages in development.

Photography Challenges on a Budget

Stock photography these days skews heavily to white and able-bodied subjects. We did extensive research to ensure that we found the few gems available portraying children more representative of the Bronx population and with disabilities. We worked closely with the client to ensure that all photos were culturally appropriate.
